I'm really lucky to have a close relationship with my sister. We're only a year-and-a-half apart so we've always been best friends and kinda have our own little world. Among other things, we think the same things are funny, like the same kinds of food, love to travel and share the same frustrations. When our husbands (at the time they were boyfriends) met, they agreed that if they were to put my sister and I in a glass box together, with nothing else, we could still have a good time and never ever be bored... and they were right on the money. Hence the name of this blog.
More than anything this is a collection the random things that I think are fun, interesting, creative, delicious and definitely things that would keep me entertained while trapped in the glass box.
About me:
Last year my husband and I moved an hour away from our families into our very first home. The re-location was due to his job, but it worked out well for us because we got a great house, an acre for our dog Pearl (she's a black lab), and have made some really great friends. Before our move we were renters living in a tiny house that my husband had lived in for years before I moved in with him. We had too much stuff, not enough space and were ready for something to call our own. We're so excited to finally be homeowners. We each love different things about the house, and even though he says I have carte blanche with the interiors, he does chime in with an opinion now and then. I'm excited about making the house a home... and sharing the process with you along the way.
